That is what I use also. It really is the best CFW for PSP.

Not sure if the Pm is working. So I'll just post these changes.

I haven't change it yet. I'll take some feedback first, to see if that's alright with you. Just doing the yellow ones.

First one.

Current: Created by the Mythos. 1H sword that cuts up space.
Mine: A creation of Mythos. A sword that can cut through space.

Current: Halberd with sharp scarlet blade. Metal easily kills.
Mine: A halberd with a scarlet tip. Can easily cut metal.

Metal Claw is correct. Many Japanese games have wrote the Kana that way. And the context match. So it's correct.

Current: Helm worn by ancients, adorned with two daring horns.
(Skipping this one, having trouble trying to come up with a sentence that fits. It's trying to say a Helmet suitable for ancient warriors, and the two horns is a display of courage).

Current: Leather Armor
Mine: Well it says Skin Breastplate. Most games would call Skin type armor Leather. So I would say Leather Breastplate.

Current: Ancient armor with the determination to go to war.
Mine: An ancient armor worn by those determined for war.

Current: Need to see it to know what's going on.
Mine: Leather trousers, heavy duty and easy to maneuver.

Those are all good.
I would go with:
膝下までを覆う、動きやすく頑丈な皮製のズボン。
Alt: Heavy duty yet comfortable leather pants.
Alt: Heavy duty leather pants that are easy to move in.
Note: Whoops!

I would go with "Creation of the Mythos." Mythos is a race. You refer to a race like "the elves," "the humans," "the orcs," etc...

You don't need a/an for any of these because it's clear from the context that a specific article is being referred to. A/an don't use for anything specific.

I didn't know leather breastplate was a thing. I had only ever seen "leather armor" before.

If it's OK, just clear the yellow flag. Also clear them once you've changed it.

Oh I see, I haven't gotten very far in Nayuta, only in the first chapter when my PSP died back in the day. I thought Mythos might be a character. (Remember the main antagonist of Tales of Symphonia? His name was Mythos!)

Note: I did try to write a guide for Nayuta, but I deleted this guide due to it's poor quality.

Current: Yespell Band
Mine: Whisper Band

(I already changed this, I believe this should be correct unless there is a character name Yespell in the game.)

Current: Ancient armor that has walked on many battlefields.
Mine: Ancient footgear that has stepped on many battles.

Current: Excellent exploration gear.
Mine: Excellent gear made for overcoming harsh environments.
(Environment as in nature.)

Current: Doll clothes.
Mine: Clothing made dolls. Has a hidden charm from the short gaps.
(The part with charm can also be translated as fragrance or scent, But I don't think Nayuta want to smell clothes here)

Ancient footgear that has stepped on many battles.
Alt: Ancient footgear that has set foot on many battlefields. (it repeats "foot" twice which doesn't sound great, but it's not wrong)
Alt: Ancient footgear that has seen many battles.
You can't step on a battle (because it's a non-physical thing).

Clothing made dolls. Has a hidden charm from the short gaps.
Has to be clothing made for dolls.
If space is an issue then leave it doll clothes; I was having trouble with the 2nd part.

The others are good.

I would use this, just cause it's the most accurate one so far

Ancient footgear that has set foot on many battlefields.

Gonna change it to that. It didn't fit within the 60 letters gap. I think I go with this.

Doll Clothes. Has a hidden charm from the short gaps.

And I hope I'm not flooding too many post trying to help. I know some users would complied a huge list in a txt. But I think posting like this, will get some input, to make the translation better and fix up more mistakes.

Current: Passionate red dress with black lace.
Mine: Red dress with black laces to show it's elegant style.
(I cut out passionate, it takes up to much space and it just a word there to say its very strong red)

Current: [Trap Damage Halved] The mischievous heart blossoms.
Mine: [Trap Damage Halved] Slippery ornament made for mischief.
(This one is hard due to space limitation.)

Current: [Autumn] Pull ground enemies and hellfire explodes from the center.
Mine: [Autumn] Pull ground enemies to the center of an exploding inferno.
(The original translation is correct, but I think this sounds better)

Going to skip the food items. For now.

Current: Shard <Bouquet>
Mine: This is correct.
(Also should it be called Star Shard for the item description? Or should it cut to Shard to save space?
This Japanese dictionary called it another term for a ton of flowers. So Bonquet should be correct.
http://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/jn/180859/meaning/m0u/

Current: Shard <Dizzy Shine>
Mine: Shard <Radiant Dazzle>
The original sound way to awkward.

Current: Choice Pork on Rice
Mine: Special Katsudon
I think players that went to a Japanese restaurant will see that you can order Rice Bowls as Katsudon.

Current: Fried Chicken
(This is a japanese form of cooking for things that are deep fried. Known as Karaage. It could be anything, so it is chicken? Fish? The context only describe the item as something deep fried and popular with kids.)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karaage

Fried chicken I think because bird meat is the main ingredient for it. I'll try to get a screenshot in-game for reference.

Katsudon
I've no real strong opinions on this. Katsudon is a pretty rare dish in the United States (not like sushi which is very common). Some players might not know what katsudon is, while Japanese players probably do. I think Katsudon is OK as is, though.
Like in the opening lines, N.S. was kept (for the year) because in Japanese, it's an obscure thing even Japanese people might not know what it is.

For the first patch in awhile I think I will do the item table and the current script (there's like 1,000-1,500 different changes from the current version).

Zoelius, do you want to try running the item tool? I can show you how it's done. It's really not so difficult, that's one of the easiest tools. But you will need a Windows PC (Win 7 or higher).

If you are OK with it (whether you changed it or not), clear the yellow flag. If you're not OK with it, leave the flag and hopefully someone will take a look at it later.

Yep I use a PC, as for the runner tool, you will just have to provide me a simple tutorial then I should able to figure it out. I sorta useless when it comes to programming, I mean taken a Computer Science course in high school, but I don't understand it one bit. Or else I would probably would have try to get a job as programmer making video games.

How to run item tool:
1. Downloads (do this once)
Python 2 (get latest version): https://www.python.org/downloads/
UMDGen 4: http://filetrip.net/psp-downloads/tools ... f6743.html
The tool: http://pastebin.com/u7qfDcwD (place in tool folder)

2. UMDgen4 (do this once)
A. Open game, export file list
B. Extract item.tbl (to tool folder)
C. Rename to item.orig

3. Spreadsheet
A. Navigate to item.tbl page
B. TSV menu -> export current sheet
C. Download .tsv (place in tool folder)
D. Delete 1st 3 lines and Japanese text column (LibreOffice works well for this)
E. Rename to itemdata.csv

4. Run the tool using Python 2. (item.tbl file is the result)

5. Build the game
A. Open game
B. In UMDGen, go to \USRDIR\text
C. Drag & drop item.tbl from step (4)
D. Import file list from step (2A)
E. Save as uncompressed

Done!

I could try rewriting the tool to remove some steps. Worth it if you're going to run the tool many times.
Could get rid of: 2C, 3D, 3E by automating those steps.

For "特選カツ重", how about "Pork Cutlet with Rice"? If I recall correctly, the world of Nayuta: Endless Trails is not explicitly or implicitly Japanese, so perhaps keeping item names in English would assist players' understanding better? As for "から揚げ", how does "Deep-Fried Food" sound? According to Wikipedia, "Karaage" is "a Japanese cooking technique in which various foods — most often chicken, but also other meat and fish — are deep fried in oil."
